I know EXACTLY how you feel. My book is coming out September 1st and the closer I get, the more release I feel. My mother died in February after three long years of Alzheimers and it took a horrific toll on both my mental abilities and my creative outlet. And I couldn't even get angry with her about it. I feel your sorrow and your joy right now.

Thank you, Stephanie, and I'm so sorry to hear about you losing your mom. My mother also passed in February of this year. Peace to you and thank you for taking the time to read this.

"I’m owning my story. I get to decide how I want to tell it and how I present it." THAT! It's freedom for you and so many people. Congratulations. I'm thrilled for you. šŸ’

One of my favorite songs by George Harrison. I liked the history behind the song. It is one of those songs that you can listened to all day long and never gets tired of listening to it. Thank you for sharing.

I can relate. I'm editing a memoir about someone who cared for a family member with Alzheimer's, and it really does take a toll on the whole family, caregivers, friends, etc.

I really appreciate you sharing your experiences.

Looking forward to your release on Friday!

Thanks so much for reading. I bet the memoir is an interesting read. I’ve seen people (mostly women) lose their careers and their mental and physical health in caregiving situations. I wish there was more help for caregivers, their loved ones, and their families.

I agree, there should be more awareness there. It’s definitely not fair, and something more people should be talking about.
